Frequently asked questions.

I’ve never had a massage before. What should I expect?

Congrats on booking your first session. Generally speaking, you will meet your therapist first. They will discuss any areas you are having pain or want them to focus on. Your therapist will give you direction on how to lay on the table under the sheets after you undress. Then they leave the room for a few minutes and come back when you are ready to start the session.

Do you have both female and male therapists?

Yes we do. We can have either a male or female therapist available for you, depending on the day, and location. Schedules do fill up quickly. We always suggest booking in advance whenever possible, so we may accommodate your request.

Will the massage hurt?

That depends on the type of massage, but not really. If you experience any discomfort that you can’t handle, we ask that you communicate with your therapist right away. There can be muscle pain associated with any deep tissue massage, especially if you have sore areas that are being worked on.

Is a 60 minute massage a full 60 minutes?

Yes, it is. We always recommend arriving a few minutes early for any paperwork or small talk.

Can I get a massage if I’m sick?

Generally speaking, we don’t recommend a massage if you’re ill with a cold or flu.

Should I tip my therapist?

Tips are always appreciated, but never expected

Does a client need to give a full name, phone, and credit card to hold the appointment?

YES. We follow up on booking requests that clients make. We often call, text, and/or email the booking client to confirm their appointment prior to their scheduled massage. If we find out that we were presented with an incorrect name, non-functional phone #, or invalid credit card numbers, we reserve the right to cancel the booking prior to the massage. If we are not able to reach the client for confirmation after multiple attempts, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.

What happens if a “New Client” books an appointment and then “NO CALL/NO SHOW” up for their appointment?

We charge 100% of the booking fee for a no show. We may allow the “New Client” to book a future appointment if they “Prepay” for the session.
